vykus Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 The tree is 1/4 in Baltic birch painted black with sumi ink then 3 coats of poly. the back drop is Quilting fabric from my wives stash, attached to 1/8 in MDF cut to fit the shadow box. The tree is elevated with four 1/4 in cubes. it took me a while to finish this one up but it looks pretty good. bobscroll and lawson56 2 Quote

Kepy Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 I have raided quilting stashes a number of times for specific background fabrics as they can really add to a piece. Nice job. Quote
