Fish Posted April 13, 2014 Report Posted April 13, 2014 I finally finished one for my oldest daughter. She actually liked it. I lost part of the right eye when sanding it and searched for at least 20 min. on my messy garage floor. I actually found it and was able to glue it in place. I think it's time to clean the floor. Dan Posted April 13, 2014 Report Posted April 13, 2014 Excellent job. You did a great job with the shadowing around her face. Quote
Nick@tinkers-cove Posted April 13, 2014 Report Posted April 13, 2014 Eye agree!...(LOL) But seriously, great cutting - I've lost a few pieces myself over the last few years...sometimes having to re-print, and re-cut when not found. I suppose that's part of cutting really cool detail - when it works, it's well worth it. I hope your daughter really appreciates the portrait (I'm sure she will). Nice work. Kindest Regards, Nick. spirithorse Posted April 15, 2014 Report Posted April 15, 2014 Great job, Fish, I had to go back and look again after reading Dan's comment about the shadowing. As Marg said, You did a great job of balancing everything. That is why I did not notice the area around the face. Everything just looks as it should! Thanks for sharing and God Bless!
