Phantom Scroller
Every time I get a new piece of wood the first thing I have to make is a cross and come up with simple designs quick and easy to make and sell, hope you like these in red oak white oak and maple. LarryEA
Richie's words are worth repeating, 'Roly they look great, thanks for sharing.' I like the cross on the cross, the idea to make a cross from new wood and especially sharing the idea. amazingkevin
That is a brilliant idea to make a cross from each and every piece of wood you get big or small.A man here in town makes and gives away mucho wood crosses and numbers them and sets them about in places of of random. You will find plenty in the hospitals here in the hallways, shelves ,phone booths, any place where it catches your eye.they are not good quality so he must have a disability of sorts. Phantom Scroller
Simple, but awesome......Roly is that 1/4" material? Yes Dan it's 1/4" thick I had a load of red oak planks 5" wide and white oak the same which believe it or not comes from a man who makes coffins and it's off cuts, then I cut up some table legs in maple to make the maple cross. I always make a cross from every piece of wood I get don't know why it's a habit but a good one. I make template to draw around so easy. Great idea Kev I give the small one's away but sell the larger ones. Perhaps I should call myself the Phantom cross maker and leave a few laying around. lol wombatie
