Jim Finn Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 I made these using my scroll saw and my band saw. It is patterned after a local similar piece that is made of metal and about nine feet tall. I have made a number of these using just my scroll saw that are three inches tall. These are six inches tall and made of Mahogany. Fish, lawson56, parish and 1 other 4 Quote

Luperez548 Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 Good job, it is totally different, thanks for my copy. Quote
Jim Finn Posted May 8, 2014 Author Report Posted May 8, 2014 Update: I had glued the two pieces together in the larger size (6") with white glue and it failed. I took them apart and glued together again using Titebond liquid hide glue. Looking at the fish view you can see the glue points are very small so care must be taken to make sure the glue bond is strong. Quote
Fish Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 Very nice work, very interesting pattern and thanks for the copy Quote
