baseball gloves

here is a start of a large order (25) of these baseball glove intarsias. these 5 are all fit together just need to sand/ shape. I have 25 to do in total, My cousin coaches a baseball team for special needs kids, and he wanted something besides a plastic trophy to give them. He is buying the supplies needed and I'm donating my time. The guy I buy my wood from donated the wood as well. They are made from cherry and aspen. I'm gonna be tired of looking at ball gloves when I'm done with these.  I'm planning to do them in stages, so I don't get to bored with them. here is a finished one as well.

Wonderful! I have made t his glove also but forgot to put in the opening where you put a picture. But it turned out great in spite of that. yours looks so realistic. It's great what you are doing and these kids will treasure these... Fay

Fay, I did away with the frame part. I just put a solid piece in there. I like it better and could engrave the kids names if need or wanted

Great idea on the engraving their names on them. I can still put a picture in mine but it would have to be cut the size of the place where the picture goes. Amazing how ideas come about.   Fay
