keefie
Just finished Cutting this night light, it's only put together for the picture as it still needs to be sanded and finished. It is all cut from 4mm Baltic Birch Plywood. The only problem is it's not a freestanding one it's designed to hang from the ceiling but I need to modify it somehow to make it a free standing one - I'm open to suggestions for that!!! DWSUDEKUM
Very nicely done. I cut this one in the past and used LEDs for the light. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW keefie
amazingkevin
Super project idea.Looks great as is but should you like a stand ,possibly set it on a cloud..And if hanging, a tea led light inside to power it.I think they run a long, long time, and maybe with glow film to absorb the room light to stay lit for a while without batteries.Nice workmanship, very nice indeed!A great selling piece, very desirable too! keefie

spirithorse
Nice looking project! I would probably just take a rectangular board (picture a 2" x 4") cut slightly longer than the night light is wide and make a slot on each side for the sides of the night light to slip into. I'd route or round-over the edges of the base to look better and, if necessary, you can cut the base at an angle from back to front. Good luck and God Bless! Phantom Scroller
Keith I would make on ornate box to stand it on like the christmas boxes style, that's if you like to work or a flat stand for ease. nice work. Roly keefie

smitty0312
That looks great Kieth, I can't see the back, but maybe fasten a couple "wedge" pieces to the back to keep it from tipping back. The piece looks awesome BTW. keefie
