DonR
In the last few days I tore down my Delta saw and replaced a bunch of bearings and greased the ones I didn't replace. It was kinda fun and I learned a lot about the mechanics of a scroll saw. Now it works much better with very little sound and no vibration. To give it a test run, I cut this Golden Falcon portrait from 1/8 inch BB stacked 4 thick. About 186 holes and about 3 1/2 hours cutting time. Finished with Golden Oak stain and Minwax spray poly. The pattern is mine and is available here http://oldcrowscrollwerks.weebly.com/store/p388/Golden_Falcon_Pattern.html Don R keefie, lawson56 and G'ma

wombatie
That is a beautiful bird, you have captured his face true to life. Well done. I wish Terry or I were mechanically minded but we're not, so if something breaks down we both stand there looking at each other. penquin
Very nicely done Don. Great looking pattern and cutting. Sounds like you had fun taking your saw apart and going through it. From the looks of this cutting it seems to be working great for you. jim penquin
