Well all my Feelings have already been expressed except what type of wood is this?  What is the over all hiegth?  Looks Expensive.  Great cutting and Yes I look forward to seeing how you finish this work of art.  Danny  :+}

Well Danny this is 3" tall and 4-3/4" across with inside depth of 2". It is made from mesquite wood, which I think is very beautiful wood and if you go to a hardwood store it is expensive. Fortunately for me people down here in texas people use it for BBQ wood mostly so I can always pick up a log and have it milled about a block away!!!
