I just realized that I hadn't posted this little fellow. Its a Steve Good pattern. I cut if for my grandson as part of is Birthday present. I think the head is Jeletong but I have no idea what the base is I just know it was very very hard and heavy. Terry turned the pieces to wrap the cord around. Marg7 points

Jesus, stacked 8 deep

this was a custom order and the client sent me the pattern so i am sorry i do not know to whom i should give credit. i love luan. if you take your time and use a reverse blade all 8 layers are usable and fits glued in a dollar tree frame. the frame here was about 30 years old i bought in an estate sale. delivered 2 of these in matching frames and the other 6 will go in $1 frames. i had to hot glue the figure to the bottom of the frame or it would move about.4 points -
I agree, I find the ex to be a great machine too. Those vacuum holes and frets hanging up in them drove me nuts, I cut a piece of Masonite and mounted it to the cutting table, one hole for the blade. And Masonite waxes really well3 points

Just finished these two pieces today. Just waiting for the clock inserts to come in before I drill the center hole. Kevin had made one of these and I liked it so I decided to make a couple. I was able to stack cut these out of 1/2 inch Oak with a 1/8 backer painted red and green. Used a #3 UR blade on this. I'll probably keep one and give one as a gift.2 points -

Just got back a short time ago from the craft show, wasn't a disaster did better then I thought, $200, not many others sold anything, I sold mostly eagles things, if it wasn't for that , I wouldn't have done well. Quite a few vendors didn't make it, had an empty spots on either side of me. The storm that we had knocked out power in the surrounding areas, We were lucky, although I had trees down in my back yard, and they were on the township property, saves me money. Now I can rest for a while. edward2 points

Yes, REALLY food colors. It has taken me 10 years to perfect the process and the final piece fell in place a month ago with the use of Duke brand peel & stick shelf paper from Walmart. Prior to the shelf paper discovery (someone on this board recommended it), I was getting blotching if I couldn't remove all the temporary adhesive from the pattern on the wood. If you go to my website you will see more colored puzzles - all with food colors. www.pickenspuzzles.com2 points

Great cut. Thanks for pointing out Jerry's idea. I hadn't seen that post and it is an issue I haven't quite figured out yet. I will give it a shot on my next piece.1 point -
Love it! The frame really helps the great cutting you did of the pattern! Thanks for showing, Bob1 point

Say Hello To My Mistress

Yuengling Lager is by far is the best beer I have ever had and that says a lot coming from a die hard "Shiner Bock" drinker. Tried it approx 7 years ago up in New York at Cooperstown when one of my son's was invited to play in a select baseball tournament near the Baseball HOF. We cant get Yuengling here in Texas (although they have starting selling it in Louisiana), so I have some friends from my side / second job that travel all over the US and they usually bring me a case or two.1 point -
The metal arrows my wife picked up at one of the hobby shops a fews weeks ago and asked if I'd hang them. I did like any of the options I had to hang them, didn't want to be able to see any of the hanger material, so I scroll out the wood. I traced the wood out with a 1/4" washer as a spacer. Got the idea with the washer from a youtube video by Charles Dearing. PS....the grass is not were I'd like to be right now, when its up and going it's has to be cut a least every five days........although I may need to rethink it this year. All four of the kids will be in college and that leaves only me to do all the yard work, lol.1 point

NEW MAGNIFIER LIGHT HELPED BIG TIME
Phantom Scroller reacted to amazingkevin for a topic
Thanks Roly, Good thing is if taken off and shut the door down and just slept. It feels good to not have anything to do for a change. The squirrels are suffering as I've not opened the back door to put raw peanuts in the hole in the dead tree trunk 2 feet from the door.No telling what this kook will do .Hopefully, he won't have me evicted legally.Always something to rattle your cage all my life.I'm a people pleaser but some think other wise,oh well.1 point -

Welcome Florin, Don't focus on €1000. My first saw 5 years ago was about €180, and the one I use now is about €650. Check the members Map on the top line. There are about 40 members listed for Romania. There may be someone near you who had an old saw to lend / sell you till you decide what to do. Bob1 point -
