  2. Been a stressful couple of weeks (very...), but I managed to get out into the garage enough this weekend to knock out two Steve Good patterns. These are going to a friend. Best part is, they both fit into one of those USPS pre-paid envelopes!!! ...for varying definitions of the word "fit".

  3. Made this Winnie Dog for a customer out of 1 & 1/4" Brazilian Cherry material , I don't really think that this material was meant to be cut on the Scrollsaw - it's a breast to cut on the Scrollsaw . And food for thought for you scrollers out there if you ever do , ( I know doesn't make any since but wear gloves when cutting this material ) just handling this Brazilian Cherry in the unfinished stage you get splinters out of this world . Any comments welcomed .........

    Thank You Birchbark

My thanks goes to Russell @Birchbark for this awesome pattern. My daughter loved it. They are my grandchildren Liam and Holly. The wood is 2.5mm Bamboo in a store bought frame. It measures 8.3" x 11.7". Thanks goes to everyone that gave the patterns a try. Marg

    Magnifying Light

The one I bought at menards doesn't have a cover over the magnifing glass. I had one at work with the cover on it and I took the cover off, it was just a pain. IKE

    Cousins finally done

Well I finally got to finish the portrait of my cousins. I want to thank Tim (Worbler) for doing this pattern for me. This was a hard pattern to do. I had to eliminate some of the detail on one of the shirts because it was to difficult to cut over 300 squares out. Also, I wasn't able to get a pattern of just my three cousins because the pic was too blurry so I had to use one with me in it also. This way they won't forget me. LOL. Thanks again Tim for all your hard work.

    Where to buy thin wood

Ray, I have used this company in the past with good results. When I built my Windsor lamp, I needed 1/8" Bubinga at least 8" wide and 10" long for the shade and he had it. I have also bought 1/8" and 1/4 BBPW. Shipping is pretty quick and prices are in line. They will also pick up the phone and talk to you if you have some special requests. http://www.woodnshop.net/index.php?p=home

    Studebaker Golden hawk

Just finished a Charles Dearing design of a 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk. I was always impressed with the Raymond Loewy design. I had to go bigger than my EX16 just so I could drill and cut all the 300+ holes in the grill and the text. Lots of very skinny lines and holes in both directions to make it work. Stuck back all the cutouts and blue taped so I could sand the back. I was able to find the original Studebaker font thou I had to modify it to work. 1/8" BB on 1/4 BB black background. I was able to quickly cut the picture frame on my table saw miter saw sled. Several coats of lacquer. On to a '65 GTO for my next project, thanks to SSV design patterns.

    Iggy's Inventory

Three sizable events in a row coming up and I've been stockpiling all winter so that I won't feel crunched on a week to week basis from now thru December... Here's the inventory sheet as of 10 minutes ago... 560 duplicates on hand, then add to that the 140 that I display plus the 100 kids puzzles I also put out... 800 puzzles. Holy crap. LOL
