I found that the nylon screw on my EX was mushroomed very badly and when I looked at parts on Seyco, they get $16 for a lever/screw kit. Plus shipping and tax. I went to Ace Hardware and bought a 2" 1/4-20 nylon screw for $.59 and it is long enough to make two screws out of it. All I had to do was to cut a slot in one end of it for a flat blade screwdriver. Works great.2 points

I need to remember this.. but I'm sure i'll forget this one by the time I need to replace mine, LOL ... sure wish I had a memory like my wife does when she remembers how I made her mad 25 years ago at a certain time and day .. I have a hard time remembering where I put that 10mm socket like 10-15 seconds after I just had it in my hand..2 points

I made this 8'x6"x2" cedar box for a donation item for a Local university's Christmas event for children. The theme this year is "The Grinch" . Woods used are: bubinga, poplar, bois d'arc, basswood, and cedar. Image is inlaid into the hinged lid using the "double bevel inlay " method with a scroll saw.1 point
