Thanks to @worbler for the kind effort on doing the pattern for me. Cut in ply framed with a frame I saved from the land fill site.

  2. I really enjoy this type of project , seeing the layers turn into a piece of work is very enjoyable......All are cut from 1/8 BB using a #3 FDUR blade...finished with shellac and spray poly...Takes a little patience but I like the results...Hope you like them as well...Thanks for looking !

I got some patterns a while ago from Bobby ( @scrollriffic ) They are all Australian Rules Football teams and one Melbourne rugby team. Anyway i finished them a while a go and forgot to show one to you. I have sold two of these and now I am about to start the football ones. It's about 20inches long and 5 inches tall, the back is 1/2 inch pine and the Melbourne is 3mm Hoop ply, oh and the white is thick card. Hope you like it. Marg

  4. The Boeing 314 is the 3rd in my cuttings of vintage luxury airliners and this airplane has the most interesting story. PanAm was operating the luxury B314 flying boat Clipper Ships across the long legs of Pacific prior to WWII. The story of the Pacific Clipper on December 7th 1941 is one of courage, ingenuity and perseverance. I have included a PDF file of that amazing adventure along with a route map and pictures of the aircraft. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I enjoyed cutting the B-314 plaque. A movie is in preproduction called the Escape of the Pacific Clipper. BTW, wife says I need to give the planes a rest for a while. Back to boxes and fret work. The Round The World Saga of the.pdf

  5. Received my Pegas blade holder today and installed it on my EX (10 minutes) what a difference, hardly any pressure to clamp the blade, less vibration on the saw also it maintain the pressure on the blade. I really recommend this new blade holder to me it is worth the money and more. Cannot go wrong with Swiss inventions.

    Howdy to the Village

Lew- I hope your move goes well. Mine has been very slow/ Moved in mid December from the Chesnee about 20 miles to Spartanburg , SC At 75 its not as easy for my wife and I as it was when 50, Got house just about just about settled little more and we will be finished. However my shop is moved but a real mess. We were careful to get everything in the shop, but wouln"t you know it yesterday I found a box with my woodworking planes in the house! Guess I will have everything set after I get power to it and can get it settled. Good luck on getting yours settled. Dave

    Wooden Teddy Bear

I received an email at the end of June and they were very apologetic and asked that I wait another month before reordering. Well my blades finally arrived today, thats almost 2 months to get from America to Australia, seems that we are back to the bad old days of sailing ship and horse and wagons. Marg

  34. This Christmas box was the first project I done on the scroll saw and now I am hooked. I try to do a project every couple of weeks. I would do more but too many other woodworking projects on my plate.

  36. Spend a bit of time in the shop to make something for the nephews, we had a real hot spell here lately so it was nice in the basement with the AC on.
