I did something last evening that I know is not going to be excepted here. I don't ask for forgiveness, I'm not proud of it but it had to be done, for now at least. I removed my Pegas clamps from my Seyco saw and went back to the old original clamps!!!!! I know, I know, I may be banned from here but I ask for your understanding. Here is why: I started cutting a picture that is my kind of fun scrolling. Detailed. I have to use Flying Dutchman 3/0 New Spiral Blades to accomplish it. I could not clamp the 3/0 Spiral in the Pegas clamp without getting the "Hockey Stick" bend in each end. I tried every trick I have learned in my years of scrolling to prevent it, but no matter, best I could do was get 3 or so clampings and it would happen. I am convinced it has something to do with the fact there are more exposed threads in the back of the Pegas clamp where you put the blade. The back of the original clamps has a very small area that has exposed threads and they are not as deep. That is the only difference I could see. I suspect the twist of that thin spiral is catching in a thread. I had it happen more often with a 2/0 pegas spiral also than I did with the original clamps. That is my second go to spiral blade. Anyway, I am back to the old clamps, at least when using the 3/0 spiral. Don't know is it is worth changing back to the Pegas clamp when not, I have to think on that..... maybe get a third scroll saw... several nice older Excaliburs for sale with in a couple hundred miles of me.........

Made these for a stall at my local Men's Shed open day next weekend.These would be ideal for a childs bedroom etc.

I personally think you should buy another scroll saw. You can never have too many scroll saws.

Means absolutely nothing I am afraid. Could be not many people were looking for a phone stand. Who knows if you sold for $6 you would have sold 4. Would be $4 richer and 2 stands less. You will drive yourself crazy pricing things and trying to figure out potential customers especially at a show. Good luck with further sales.

I enjoy the old west theme and use it in a lot of my patterns. Steve Good came up with one the other day I could not resist, so I tried my hand at it. I use cherry and maple woods and a photo I took in Monument Valley as a background, instead of a plain black. Came out pretty good. Go on over to Steve's blog and download the pattern. I'm sure he'd appreciate it. Here's a picture of my rendition of the project. A little bit different than Steve's. '

As you should and deserve. In case you are unaware, be sure you log in whenever you go on her site to buy something. The reason you want to do this, is because she keeps a record of your purchases and if you lose or damage one of her patterns, you can go to 'my purchases', (or something like that) and download and print any of the projects you have ever bought from her. I need to buy some small spiral blades and try them on my saw Paul. Next time I order I will get some. We can compare that way and see if it's the small blades or the chuck heads, or maybe both. grizz

They are sooooooooooooooo cute. Are they just for display or for sale too? Men's shed are awesome we have one locally too, I went inside a couple of years ago and they have lots of equipment plus they had a cheap scroll saw I suggested that they upgrade to a better one and then more people would be interested. Marg

@Wilson142, I put a set on my Dewalt and have not had a minute of problem. That said, I don't use blades that small.

I wouldn’t call one day a successor failure for them at that price.

I just use less glue. Never heard of the tool though and it is pretty cool.

nice job on this. One would have a difficult not to find a really super pattern from Sue Mey. She is a whiz at coming up with many top notch patterns. She would enjoy seeing this one you did, I am sure about that Dick heppnerguy

Marg, Are you kidding me? No, right not I am not interested in doing it again anytime soon. I do like your attitude on it though. Too many other pattern I need to get to first. However I hope to remember from this one that I need to adopt your motto suggestion. Dick heppnerguy

Today I tried adding some photos to my Gallery. I've always had trouble doing this. However, today I tried doing if from Chrome instead of my usual I,E. and it ''WORKED''. It's quite an eclectic mix but I do so love trying different patterns. I'm quite proud of the progression I've made over this last year, from simple Silhouettes to more complex pieces. Thank you all for your words of wisdom and encouragement that made it possible.

Everybody has their own way of doing things, this is mine. I shrink wrap the puzzles with a card with a hint and the number of pieces. If I ramp up, I will include an email address and some other info. I have taken pics of the front and rear of the puzzles.

I have altered the stand a bit in order to be able to charge the phone while in the stand.
