  2. Hi there, I have been scrolling for about a year now, I find I am learning new things everyday. I get real enjoyment for creating gifts for members of my local Church, little plaques, 3d compound cuts ( I love those) never ceases to amaze me when pulling the outside layer away. I have been learning inkscape as well, for that more personalised gift, which I am thoroughly enjoying. As I have browsed through the group, there seems to be some truly gifted individuals on here, looking forward to learning something new from you all and pushing the boundaries of my creativity. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Thanks to @thatknobtony I got to make this for a lady in South Australia. The wood is 1/2" Australian Blackwood.. Unfortunately I could only get the fluro pink paint, spray paint is in a bit of a short supply at the moment due to isolation, because everyone is doing DIY. Marg

That is really nice Marg. Have you tried coloured felt as a background? I find it works really well.

  6. My niece's oldest son is a baseball nut just like his uncle. We both need to see this COVID nonsense end so some body can yell "PLAYBALL". Until then, knowing how much he is missing his pals on Little League, I cut a puzzle of him receiving his "All Star" trophy last season. 139 pcs including my first attempt at cutting figural/whimmsies. I hope this works, thanks for looking. Sorry about the image, it was taken on my phone and then turned on it's side by the APPLE goblins, and I can't figure out how to fix it.

@John B I have tried felt a couple of times but I only had green and black to choose from. No where local sells it. I did think of thick pink cardboard after I had posted it. Marg

    THINK in 3D

Just finished this 3D cutout. This was my first project with Pegas blades. I really like how smooth and crisp the blade left the wood. Still getting used to how the blades cut as opposed to Flying Dutchman. Looking forward to experimenting more with the Pegas.

  30. you are so right about that. I thought I had patience but I wouldn't even want to try what this guy is doing. I will leave having this much patience to him and the doctors Dick heppnerguy
