    A fret horse

I cut this H. Botus pattern just because I liked it. I am placing it up for sale in our area to see if anyone else likes it as much as I do. I had it enlarged and I am using some scrap cedar to try and learn a little bit about making my own frames as I think they add a more finished look and really do not cost anything extra, at least right now. This on did not come out perfect but good enough so one gets the idea. I am thinking about maybe making a couple for my horse family girls. I will wait and see how their reactions are to them first. Latest Cuttings

I was asked to show my Bear Bryant, so here it is. As is some of my latest cuttings all of Steve Good patterns At least I'm pretty sure they are. My Tribute to Our Fallen Hero's is my newest cut. Finished it this morning. Loved doing the Locomotive.

    Feeling Haggard Two

This is the 2nd Merle Haggard cutting I’ve done. I like this better than the 1st one. I’m feeling haggard, too.

    Gnome

I got this free pattern from Google. Didn't quite work out the way it did in my head but still quite happy with it and so was the girl that I gave it too. Cut from half inch pine. Marg

  6. I have several times, never had a problem... If I remember correctly, it took around two weeks for the plans to arrive... Maybe a little less.

    Retiring again

Today is my last day at my retirement job. Retired from my regular job 19 years ago and have worked at this job for 18 years sometimes full time but mostly part-time. I've been working with mentally handicapped adults. Now I will have more time for my scrollsaw and lathe.

    Blade question

Yes, there is a specific mounting orientation. The blade faces to the front of the saw and the teeth pointing down. It is sometimes hard to tell the direction of the teeth. Run your finger along the blade. Rough side up so the teeth are pointing down.

    Key Rack

I just finished this and hung it on the wall. Happy to say my wife likes it (or at least says she does). Done in 1/4" plywood with Pegas MGT3 blades. It is in 2 levels, the black back piece and the white front piece. The hooks are metal.

Pretty, but...tell me you really did not use the scroll saw to cut that. A band saw of jig saw maybe, but a scroll saw????

  29. We have tossed around finding some place to escape to. Our RVing days are behind us once we get home. Too old and the highways suck. We've wintered in Mesa at a huge resort and loved tge weather. I know the summers are very hot but for what? 3 months? Maybe we could rent a place in the White Mtns or some other cool place. We're going to go looking in the Fall. Time will tell.
