Today is/was "organize day". I gathered up what' I've cut out since I started a year and a half ago and laid it out on one of the guest beds. This is what I came up with, minus the Christmas decorations and some things I've cut out and given away. I plan to finish the pieces hope to sell them at a farmers market this summer. Now I have to figure out how to display them - my wife said I couldn't take the bed!

Attended a Market at the Goldfields Art Centre today from 10am - 2pm. It was inside, nice and cool. Not busy but steady. $40 for the stall. The stall looked a lot lighter on at 2pm, but I had $700+ dollars in the sky rocket. A good day all around.

Wanted to make a little something to give my mother on Mother's Day. This is a Steve Good pattern cut on 1/4 birch finished with natural stain and several coats of clear with light sanding between coats. The back is pine painted green or red in appropriate areas. I actually cut this double stack and the other one will go to my wife. Steve's pattern calls for a 1/4 inch rectangle around the outside edge but the wife liked it better without. I've said before, happy wife, happy life! I wish the lady members of the forum a Happy Mother's Day!

I stack cut 2 and can't decide which one I like better. Sue Mey pattern.

Thanks to JR42 for making the pattern for me. A long time (child hood) friend of my wife likes Gunsmoke as much as I do. Only she has different eyes for Matt. Cut with #3 FD spiral blade. Also first time adding burning to a project. I felt Matt needed to be a bit dirty.

I met a cabinet maker a few month ago through the VFW. He started saving some of his cutoffs for me and I picked them up yesterday. Started sorting thru it and this is what I sorted out so far. The left side is Alder, the right is Oak. Just getting started, I’ll be at this all day

I will try to applied your methodes, the video is very interesting for me, I get to remove and put back the blade without many difficulties. you are all right, it is with practice that I will know which blade will be the best with which type of wood. I learn much tips here. Thank you vey much.

I normally like to cut portraits but decided to cut out the Serenity Prayer. Since I was staining red I stained my little under the counter shelf project red.

As some of you may know I set about building a new bench/stand from my King 16" I got last fall. After much planning and thinking on it I came up with what is in the picture. I wanted something heavy so I could minimize vibration. It made from (8) 2X4's and weights about 40 pounds. Best thing was I had the 2X4's on hand as I had purchased 37 of them prior to covid for a project that never got off ground, they were just hanging out in my garage. The center leg is not so wide as to make me uncomfortable while cutting. It's solid as a rock. No plans really, just started with an idea in my head and ran with it. Chris

She doesn't have any of the ones that I've been making over the past 18 years, so I decided to make her a full set. One of the mid size gets a pin (shown) attached for wearing on a sweater, etc. The other mid size becomes a necklace, the two smallest become ear rings, and the largest is just for display or hanging on the Christmas Tree. You can see by the included dime how small these are. I made and finished all of these, including clear lacquer spray and jewelry assembly in 2 1/4 hours yesterday. I have promised a few sets of ear rings to others, so will likely make and assemble them tomorrow. Then on to some larger projects. I need to make more boxes, so I think they are next on my list. I ended up buying the elbow that Ray shown in his reply from the etsy seller, he also had a connector for my table saw so I ordered that one too. Hopefully the seller will be quick to get them out in the mail since I no longer have my old planer or table saw.. both sold fairly fast on FB .

TY very much for the pattern. You did an awesome job on it and I will certainly enjoy cutting it. Walter Brennan was an amazing character actor. As to the font, I have had that happen with fonts too, so we are in good company. I have that font loaded on my computer so not a problem.

Thanks Marg, They sure did, as we were setting up another stall holder grabbed both. I may make another couple and see if they go. They were just a method getting ride of the 2 VW's I had sitting around. May prove to be great seller.

Actually when I'm in position to cut the pedal is in a very comfortable location, that was one of my main concerns when figuring out the leg design and location. I wanted to make sure they didn't interfere with the pedal or my feet.

The common courtesy that I try to follow is to share a direct link to where a pattern can be found if I can. If I can’t find the direct link, I would try to give a link back as best I can so here to the Village in general if I knew that was where I had found it. So, For example, if it’s a JGR pattern (or another one I had purchased somewhere), I would share the direct link to the pattern so it can be purchased. If I couldn’t give the direct link, I would give the link to her home page. I would do the same even when the pattern has been shared for free somewhere. For example, if it’s a Steve Good pattern, I would first try to find the original blog post where he shared the pattern and provide the direct link back to it. If I couldn’t easily find it, I would provide a link back to his home page of his blog. in this instance, I would do as you did, say where I had gotten the original pattern from, the Scrollsaw Village website, and then provide a direct link back to where it can be found here. (I signed out and checked and you would need to be a member and signed in to access patterns shared it looks like so they would need to join to be able to see and download.) Since the patterns shared here are shared by members for members of the village, in my humble opinion, I would not post one I downloaded from here somewhere else or pass it on to someone but would point them back to where they could find it just as I would if it was a pattern I had purchased.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you....I was having some problems with my headaces and migrines....it happens sometimes when im close to needing my next series of shots...frontly I got my shots this morning so I should be feeling better by tomarrow.
