  1. A wedding gift for some awesome clients and friends. It really is square. I have a hard time getting a good picture of a picture. Fame is walnut. Fret work is 1/8" baltic birch with a 1/4" walnut plywood backer.

  2. Ray, I don’t usually do much portrait work (I cut mainly puzzles) but I did cut one today. I used cereal box cardboard behind 2 layers of 1/8” ply and it did help a lot on eliminating the fuzzies on the bottom piece of wood. My only suggestion, if you’re a bottom feeder, is to make sure the printed side of the cardboard is against the wood. It can be challenging to find the holes against the pictures/writing if the inside (plain side) is inside and the print is out. DAMHIK

    Cat box

A cat crew lady sent me a Pic of her cat. The cat crew traps, neuter, and releases (TNR) feral cats. I saw I had a Cocobola piece of wood with nice grain. 1/4" thick 3 inches x 12 inches. Her pic would not look good on my 3 inch wood due to aspect ratios. So I found a cat pic on web and adapted swirl pattern to a stalking cat profile. So I made her a cat box. She is an artist also. She sketches paints other people's cats and then glues on cat whiskers that she collects. This box will hold her cat whiskers.
