Had this machine for a couple of years now although here in the UK it is sold by Axminster Tools and is known as the AT535SS.

A very nice machine with Pegas blade clamps and tilting arm as opposed to a tilting table. The saw runs very quiet and smooth.

    Highly recommended.

The saw itself is amazing. Its the quietest scroll saw i've seen or used and its quite powerful. The easy blade change and the ability to tilt the head (and not the table) has been super convenient. I'm yet to try out the dust collection capability but its not something i had earlier on my DW788, so thats a plus.

I had a rough start with it, with a couple of parts giving way early on. The company worked with me and helped me resolve the issue. The support team is based here in Ohio and I was able to take my saw in, get it looked and get my issue fixed.

The Excalibur is under the Axminster name in the U.K.,a brilliant machine ,no vibration a descent motor,a joy to use.

I purchased a used Excalibur saw (purple) after hearing so many people say it was "the" saw to have.  I had also used one at Judy Gale Roberts Studio and thought it worked better then the Dewalt 788 (Type 1) that I already had at the time.  I think it is a great saw and easy to use.  It tilts a full 45% to either side, nice when needing that for projects.  I got a new Seyco saw a year ago.  It only tilts 30%.  While the Seyco is now my go to saw (mainly because it was a gift), I still have my Excalibur as my "back up" saw.  I consider both the Excalibur and the Seyco to be excellent machines that will last a long time if you take minimal care with them.
