Two Truths & A Lie:

Quote:

  1. Well these have been talked about here and I decided to add them to my show items and hope they sell well and make great gifts for many this season as my shows start this weekend. The cocktail napkin holders. I will give people choice of color of napkins at show. If these take off I hope to add more to the lineup next year. I still think this is a cool idea. Hope others do to.
  2. I thought the background was wood but your right it's a holiday napkin!!,Good eyes you have ..mine are going fast.
  3. I always liked the turkey napkin holders. You are amazing Kevin.......
  4. Very good Kevin. Another one of your great creations. I got a bit confused and thought of a 'Prayer Cloth' when I saw the title prayer napkin ....
  5. I love those napkin holders. This one was right down your alley with the word pattern. You knocked this one out of the ball park Dick heppnerguy
  6. Someone seen the others I made and wanted one.1/4" ply & Oak base with felt stick on pads.and sprayed with semi gloss.
  7. Not really. I will see how long it takes to do But a couple hours and BB wood. Need a few cheaper items to spark sales. Trying something new. Will add some of those napkin holders too. Again some BB wood and quick cuttings.
  8. Napkin holders are a plus for any table.good job.
  9. Finished yesterday a Sue Mey Butterfly pattern
  10. The door next to my shop is the giant yoga studio. If your one of the lucky ones there will be a surprise on a napkin waiting on your car when you return. Lots of times i'll make happy monday or Namaste,Its nice to be nice, you never know. The girls want me to join but i'd have to wear blinders, lol. Thanks for asking.
  11. Still needs some detail sanding, same cutting both sides
  12. Another napkin holder to the collection. Easy and fun. 4mm baltic plywood.
  13. This is a Steve Good Pattern for a Woven Basket with a few changes. Firstly I enlarged to 6 inches in order to incorporate a 5 inch cocktail napkin. Used on 4 layers instead of 8. Top and bottom 1/4 walnut. Boss approved.
  14. That came out great. Another great idea for a napkin holder.
  15. Posted my rough idea for a napkin holder for my daughter-in-laws baby shower a couple months ago. Of course it got crazy and I never got to it. Shower was today so finally got on the ball and got it done. Used 1/2 inch oak and happily was able to get a tight fit so the base and napkin holders didn’t need glue. Wanted it so it could be taken apart then used as a chain/necklace holder when she gets older. I’m hoping to be able to venture into boxes by the time she’s older to make a base with a drawer for rings and earrings.
  16. Who's pattern is that?? I would be bored after 2 of them. It is not a difficult pattern. Not sure I would be playing around with a new saw for something like that. Use that time on something where there is no timetable. Now add some wedding napkin holders and you have a real winner and you will not be able to keep in stock.
  17. I also love the bird plaques, I assume they are Sheila Landry's patterns. And I love the bunny napkin rings, could you tell me where you got the pattern please? The spoon rests are unusual, very nice and the Easter box is perfect. Well done Pete. Marg
  18. You guys are sure coming up with some cute napkin holders. Nice job!
  19. Don, that is beautiful. Lucky having a friend with a lazer cutter. I have not made a napkin holder but I did cut a couple of the wheels in anticipation of making a holder.
  20. I did the pattern attached . The cupid came from a Steve Good pattern and the rest came from a pattern posted here. cupid napkin holder.pdf
  21. Really great looking. I got to ask, do people actually pull napkins out to use off one of those or are they for looks only? If they do pull a napkin out, do they easily come out or will the holder slide or fall over it they do not hold it?
  22. We are having a dinner next week for Valentines so I made one for the party. I must admit I have sinned. I had a friend with a laser cut me a bunch of the wheels for they would be perfect. The pattern and the rest I did my self. I found the napkins at the $ store. Takes 3 packs. I just love the ideas that come from the village.
  23. Well I was able to change some of these patterns around a little bit. I interchanged some of the bodies. I used the top part of one and drew the bottom part from another one. The red one is normal size napkins and the yellow one is with the cocktail/beverage napkins which are only 5 x 5. I'm messing around with another one now to. Have to get some fancy napkins for that one.
  24. Great job on your first napkin holder Brenda! They do look pretty! Thank you for posting, Bob
