  6. This inferno is taxing my get up an go.Finaly finished clear coating the monogrammed napkin holders an then a customer at the store wanted "Whobisket" then he wanted his and his girlfriends name and changed it 3 times after i completed it 3 times, and then the home depot sprayers i use for paints and min waxand then the neighbor brought over a coffee grinder that needed a new bottomcut from this 3/8" board and then the security guard wanted thisshe says she's going to put it above her bed headboard,
  7. all the resawing of thick wood down to 3/8" dangerously paid off.I didn't want to give somebody else $100. for 1/4" aromatic cedar 8" x 1/4'' x6'so i did it my self.I got $30 a piece for the cedar monogramed napkin holders an $100. for the thin wood.Thank you Jesus.Best paying scroll job to date!I used a whole qt. of minwax quick dry poly on the lot.I had thin hardwood backers i've been saving for clocks i use as backers on the monogramed front
  8. She finally came and pick Donr's sahara up today and wants the other one done by Bobby i think,The security guard wants a word art for her wall 22" x 60" and i got a deposit for that today for delivery sunday.I'm clear coating the 10- "R" napkin holders .I did not get a deposit for these and they were one heck of a lot of work especially detailing them.I've got to get $30. a piece for them, all in hardwood ,base ,backing and front three kinds of hard wood.I enjoyed doing them .i need a windsheild for my car $300..windsheld whipper assembly $45.00 an tax on my rent they never told me i owe since april $15. a month.I never get ahead
  9. I hate this part of the job .but i can't see giving the $6.00 a foot for wood i have .I just need to cut it down and plane it to 1/8".the 10" table saw was slow go cutting 1.5"x 8"x12" aromatic cedar. My fingers were so close to the blade,I was ready to snatch them away at any second .But things went good. She wants 10 more napkin holders soon for a contest.I'm trying to get it all done by Monday so the lumber money can go in my pocket. And then my neighbor shows up and needs his newest find and wants a new bottom put on it.He wanted poplar but i could not find any that wide here in my shop. What ever i found needs to be aged,i rounded the edges and planned it down to 3/8".The coffee grinder itself needed to be snugged up the handle where it goes into the box,Now it will grind java beans. Some one had it at a yard sale for $20.00 .I cleaned it all up,Put a new bottom on it,Removed the old one and Google it to find out anything about it ,age ,value.I couldn't find the age but there are plenty on the net for $14.00 on up to $129.00
