Two Truths & A Lie:

  1. Many years ago my wife and I visited Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It is one of the most scenic and historic walled cities in Germany. The view is of the Rotor Tor (gate) and we had the opportunity to walk around the top of whole wall. It's a magical place full of timber frame houses and interesting shops. It' a project I had thought about doing for a long time. I started the design 12/17 and didn't start the cutting until 3/7. I gave myself some time to work on it and had to walk away a few times. There were a lot of holes! Things were kind of fragile too. Keeping pieces in place helped retain the strength until I was finished. Love Blue Tape!! I finished it today. Dimension is 17 x 12 on BBPW. Finish is Semi-gloss lacquer and I made a custom frame to fit. I must say that it was one of my most challenging scroll saw projects but I'm glad I did it.
