Have you ever used a scanning service to scan the pullout patterns that come with Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts magazine? I have had most of my scroll saw books scanned and would like to have the pullout patterns scanned.

Hey Guys, I have been watching the videos on how to make patterns with GIMP. My question is, is there a size restriction on how big the GIMP program can print? Lets say I want a pattern that in 13"x 30". Will it print out the pattern in sections so you can piece it together? Thanks, Jeremy

This came up on my homepage. Thought about posting it on Pattern, but its not mine. I don't play hockey, watch hockey and couldn't come up with a single hockey puck. Maybe some fan or relative is into it and would love to display whats buried in their drawers. RJF Hockey-Puck-Display-Stand.pdf Puck_Holder.pdf

I posted the Lovely Cats coin some time back and promised to post the pattern . . . . . and almost forgot . . . Here it is. I suggest cutting on an Eisenhower, but it is possible to cut on the Kennedy, but those whiskers are very tricky at that size. Pic of coin below is on Kennedy, cut on the Dewalt. Just click on the link below the picture to download the pdf pattern. If you cut on a Kennedy, then print at 100% on a Eisenhower 124.5%. Or you can blow it way up and cut in wood. LovelyCats.pdf

Hello members, My name is Sam. I am a new scroller to this forum. I have been in mechanical engineering for 30+ years. I have been called "Mr. perfect, Perfectionist, Picky..." I am currently an engineering manager in a small company in southern California. I have always told the folks who work for me: "nothing less than perfect is acceptable". Sometimes they hated me for that, but I am proud to preach perfection. As a teen ager I did a lot of scrolling by hand. Made lots of light chandeliers, exotic bird cages, and many other fancy pieces (no pictures of these). In my thirties, I bought my first Dremel scroll saw and made a lot of wood pieces and tried selling at flee markets (people didn't want to pay for all that nice work). I few weeks ago I bought a used Ridgid Scroll Saw. that thing vibrates like a tumbler. couldn't work with it. I just got a good deal on a used Excalibur 16. I am looking forward to asking a lot of questions (about fine tuning/setting up the blade and scrolling) I will contribute and help as much as possible when I get more experience. Thank you all . Looking forward to being a member. Sam

Although this is a pattern I am placing it in Bragging Rights because it was a requested pattern and not something I made to be used by just anyone. This was done for Maine Scroller and it worked out so well I just had to brag
