I bought this saw at a woodworking show in San Jose California about 28 years ago. It is a very reliable saw and I use it often. It is very durable and reliable. I never had it break down but I did go for the new Quick clamp which makes blade changing must easier. I do recommend this saw as I have been completely satisfied with it's performance over the years that I have used it. Mike
  3. Brad, my prayers will be offered for you and your bride. Before you know it you will be back on the saw creating beautiful projects.
  4. Ron, my prayers are with you, Take it slow and you will be as good as new.
  5. Brian, that is awesome, your daughter will cherish it forever, great craftsmanship. Mike
  6. Kevin, no magic word,"LOL" under the seat cushion is a lid with a piano hinge, it lifts up to allow my Great Grandson to put in his Toys, Just pulling your leg as you knew that," RIGHT"? Mike
  7. Fantastic job on that wedding box, the fretwork is outstanding. That certainly will become a family heirloom. Mike
  8. Tony, you did a great job on the sign, How big is it? Mike
  9. Todd, they are real eye catchers, Good luck on your sales. Mike
  10. I made this Toy Chest for my Great Grandson, Jason
  11. Ditto on what everyone has commented. I like your idea and may give it a go. I have never cut puzzles before and I might just attempt it using your technique. Mike
  12. Outstanding piece of workmanship, it is incredible and a labor of love. Mike
  13. I am interested in learning how to make 3D patterns as I cut many 3D items. A tutorial is a great idea. Mike
  14. I have owned the Hegner 18v for 28 years and do mostly fretwork with it, I do not have a problem with bottom feeding but wish they would come out with a top feeder. This saw is a complete work horse and has held up over the years. As others have commented all of the parts are available but pricey which I have a problem with as I think it is taking advantage of Hegner owners. Example: bellows replacement part sells for close to $50.00 plus shipping for a molded plastic part. Mike
  15. This is a Sue Mey pattern, I cut 5 of them and have a request for 3 more. Mike
