  1. Happy Birthday RichB!  I hope you have an awesome day!

  2. I have used them twice for two big projects and everything went great.
  3. Amazingkevin, I just got back from a trip and noticed your comments. Thanks to all. I could send it out to you but then I would have to build another. I am working on the Apostles Clock now and that will take a long time, and my wife says no way will the Depot Clock leave the house. I am so glad everyone who saw the pictures enjoyed them. I hope to do the same thing with the Apostles Clock but it will take longer. Thanks again to everyone. RichB
  4. Yes I did get the sound and lights. It was fun fitting all of the electronics in the depot. If you look at my pictures I try-ed to show everyone how I did it. I also made the top removable which helped. The lights only work when you turn them on to show the clock. The sounds go on each hour with a photo electric cell. This shuts the sound off at night. I am glad to help with any other questions. RichB
  5. Thanks again everyone. I am now working on the Apostles Clock. I know for a fact it will take a lot longer then the Train Depot. Retirement gives me a lot of time. My wife is working her last day today. She loves to paint. We are going to try and work her painting with scrolling. We enjoy the sounds on the Train Depot every day.
  6. I have just started on the Apostle"s Clock. I have the bottom sides, and front panel cut so far. What a project. No hurry on this one.
  7. I really like this. It will take a little getting used to but that's OK. Nice, thanks for all the work on this.
  8. What a lot of work Travis. Good Luck. Thank you for taking this on.
  9. Travis, you do a great job. You as well as many members on this sight have been a big help on my projects.
  10. I thank all of you so much for all the great comments. I enjoyed this project so much that I just had to share it with everybody. It is prettty easy to build but you need a table saw because of the many square parts. I have become friends with Ben12 over this project. We were building it together using E-Mails and we are going to meet each other in the future. I make pens with my son and we do a few shows so I had to fit this in and it was well worth it. If anybody is going to build the clock in the future feel free to ask any questions you might have. Thanks again RichB
  11. I have finally finished my clock with some pictures on Photobucket. It was a lot of fun. I am retired so I took some time doing it. I think it was 3 months about 2 or 4 hours on some days. I made some changes on the construction for wiring it which made it a lot easier. I purchased the plans from The Art Factory and the lumber from Ocooch Hardwoods and both were very helpful. I am willing to answer any questions and thanks for looking and I hope the link works. http://s159.photobucket.com/albums/t125 ... t%20Clock/
  12. Hi Joey it was me RichB. I sent a PM
  13. Outstanding job Ben. Ben and I have been working on the project together with E-Mails. He went beyond me on this special project. We have become friends over this. I hope to finish up mine sometime with all the sounds and lights and show it off. I really like the different woods he put in to it and the sign. Thanks Ben, RichB
  14. Great Job two of my favorites in life motorcycles and tractors. Thanks for showing.
  15. My wife and I thank all of you for the kind compliments. We can't wait for our son and his wife, and kids, to see them Christmas. I haven't posted much on here because of all the work on these cuttings and the pens me and my son make. I have a much more appreciation for the art of Scroll Sawing now.
